He is currently the artistic director of the Altavoz Festival (altavozfest.co) in the city of Medellín, the most important free musical event in the province and the second most important in Colombia, after Rock al Parque. In its edition of 2018 it counted on 58 bands, two stages and an attendance that touched the eighty thousand people. He has also been a curator in Circulart 2015, in the selection of Brazilian artists for the Medellín Book Fair 2017 and in the programming of different festivals such as Mupa (Panama), Unirock Valle (Cali), Rock Comuna 6 and the Rock Beam, among others. He was the founder and director until 2012 of Sabanetoke, a collective that brings together rock and hip hop artists who attend meetings and academic events of a formative nature that are then presented at the festival. He is also music journalist in newspapers such as El Tiempo or El Mundo and works on an essay as the basis of a thesis in political science entitled ‘Rock and its role in the formation of public opinion’. As a musician in the band Unos Vagabundos, he released the album ‘Contradiscurso’ a few months ago. He also directs La casa Independencia, a space for small audiences that has a gallery of plastic arts and a place for the development of music and live theater.
