Former director of PIAS Records Spain, Gerardo has been breathing music since he was thirteen. His links with the distributor Surco led him to connect with the first Spanish indie, becoming involved in releases of classic albums such as Pizza Pop by Australian Blonde or Devil Came To Me by Dover. His passion for rock dragged him to Mastertrax, where he created the specialized electronic label Masterdance and its independent music division that hosted labels such as Epitaph, Strut or PIAS itself. From then on, he began a close relationship with the Belgian label, acting as Managing Director between 2001 and 2013 and developing in our country the careers of artists such as Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Tom Waits, 2 Many Djs or Dorian, among others. Many. At this point, he decided to work as a freelancer in early 2014 by writing the first festival guide: Manual del Perfecto Festivalero and developing the application www.playmoss.com. He currently directs the event Brunch-In The Park (Madrid) and works as a project manager for different artists, record labels and promoters and music selector for television series and platforms such as Netflix.
