ATENCION TSUNAMI

A cult band in the national alternative scene for over a decade, Atención Tsunami is a key project for understanding the paths and mutations that the sound of alternative rock can take when it steps outside the orthodox and conventional style guides. With influences ranging from emocore to spoken word, from slowcore to post-punk, from the catchiest pop melodies to the most abstract math-rock, this Madrid-based quintet has just released “Core,” their fifth album. An essential band in the circuit, they will be presenting it throughout the year.
