The Sevillian artist made her way into our hearts back in 2019 with a couple of singles, “Grudges” and “Let It Grow (up),” which introduced us to a wonderful voice, reminiscent of jazz’s great divas, and a talent that was crying out for a place in the independent scene. Two years after a seminal yet promising album, “Santo Amaro,” which spanned multiple influences from pop to Brazilian music and singer-songwriter styles, María Yfeu returns in 2024 with a highly anticipated second album, sung entirely in Spanish and recorded at La Mina Studios with Raúl Pérez.
