Behind the curious moniker Mon Dvy (pronounced “Monday”) is the personal project of young Martín Muñoz, seasoned as a producer and multi-instrumentalist with artists like Alba Reche, Samuraï, Xavibo, Maikel Delacalle, Yawners, and Carolina Durante. Having worked alongside this who’s who of our independent scene and in such diverse styles translates into his role as a composer: his songwriting draws from multiple sources, from jazz to pop to hip hop, always seeking a unique sound and a highly personal color. His latest work, the highly recommended LP titled “Mal nombre,” demonstrates this. It’s as if Sen Senra were to binge on Delafé hits.
