This fall, they are introducing their first LP, “El Camino,” following that glorious compilation of singles titled “Sus mejores canciones.” If from that we could reminisce melodies such as “Charlotte,” “Doce navajas,” and “Sol de ayer,” from their upcoming work we have already sampled “Soleada,” “Humo negro,” and “La culpa.” These three songs showcase the versatility of a band capable of evoking the likes of Dusty Springfield, La Femme, Black Keys, Margo Guryan, Las Grecas, and Elia & Elizabeth. Past, present, and future… seamlessly blended.
