In his previous work, the celebrated “La verdad” (The Truth), the Jerez-born musician amazed everyone by delving into the roots of our folklore, fusing them with remarkable success with those other influences that GAS Drummers has been exuding ever since their adolescence; namely, gritty rock with socio-political overtones a lo Grant Hart. In “A fuego” (Burning), their latest LP, they return to this path, a crossroads between two traditions, Southern and American, with songs that ignite quickly and intensely.
