Whether together with Johanna Borchert, as Little Red Suitcase, as part of the Danish collective and record label ILK, or on her own, until she found her way to the prestigious label American Thrill Jockey, this universal Basque has had an acclaimed career, ranging between experimental and more classic sounds. It is not surprising that her duet with the aforementioned Roberts was featured at The Stone, the Mecca of the avant-garde in the East Village, directed by John Zorn; and her songs have been praised by the likes of Pitchfork and Dusted.
