Presentado por Madame Vodevil / UNIA Música Abierta After releasing five sneak-peek singles that ended up spawning a cult embracing this expressive duo, originally from Chile, last June we finally got the long-awaited debut album by Emilia and Pablo, Territorio delirio, an unusual crossover between the most disparate sensibilities, featuring corporeal poetry and Latin American roots music. Honored with a Pulsar Award for Best Video Clip, for Temblor enajenación, one of the singles off the album, the project began to grace stages, leaving behind a trail of tears and intense emotions bubbling under the surface, evoking the likes of María Rodés and Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés, but filtered through a lyrical mysticism that is initially deceptive. In the words of journalist Fernando Neira, “a whirlwind of tranquility: they sing and play from a place of sweetness, but transport the listener to a microcosm of concerns and suggestive poetics. All this, with nothing but four hands and two voices.” Folk Saturday 20th, 17.30h – Escenario SGAE
