Debuting with a double album, the remarkable “Chorando apréndese”, was already a real statement. To release a triple one was either madness or an act of supreme courage. In any case, “Agricultura livre” is a gem from start to finish, a polyhedral work, free and audacious, which the always-astute Carlos Pérez de Ziriza did not hesitate to call “a particular ‘Astral Weeks'”. Seven years later, that marvel is still intact, with all its masterful power of seduction.
