Staying at one of Hotel Records’ suites, those lodgings that have given us so many delights of late, two springs ago the Catalonians gave us an excellent tutorial on not skipping a beat: “Baila mi ritmo” (Dance my rhythm), featuring 80s melodies that a university radio station would love, choruses asking to be chanted at the top of your lungs, a whole slew of nods to rock’n’roll fandom, and even an indulgence like a pop song, without losing their punk essence. The ideal album to fight hangovers, or celebrate them.
