Herminio Gutiérrez is Musical Supervisor of more than 80 feature films, among which are “No refunds accepted” (2013) by Eugenio Derbez; (the highest grossing film in the history of Mexico) as well as the multi-award winners: “Ixcanul” (2015) and “La Llorona” (2019) by Jayro Bustamante; “La Jaula de Oro” (2013) by Diego Quemada-Diez; “Güeros” (2014) by Alonso Ruizpalacios and “La 4a. Company ”(2016) by Amir Galván and Mitzi Arreola.

His work has also been reflected in period productions such as “Arráncame la vida” (2008) by Roberto Sneider; “Hidalgo” (2010) by Antonio Serrano; and classics like “Amar te hules” (2002) and “Amores perros” (2000) by Alejandro González Iñárritu.

His experience also includes TV series such as “Hasta que te met”, the life of Juan Gabriel; “El César”, the life of boxer Julio César Chávez; “I’m your fan”; “XY” and “FALCO”, winner of the 2019 EMMY International Award for Best Foreign Language Series. In addition to important campaigns for Latin America for the Nissan March and Ades brands.

Twenty years of experience support him as Musical Supervisor with the best Producers in Latin America and place him as a benchmark in our music and film industry.

In 1999 he joined the AltaVista Films Film Production Company to participate in the classic “Amores Perros” and since then he has collaborated as Producer and Musical Supervisor in Cinema and Series.

He is currently participating in the Series “Maradona: Sueño Bendito” and “Narcos vs Zombies” both produced by Amazon Prime; “Story of a Crime” (Theft of the Century) for Netflix; and in the most recent film by Ernesto Contreras “Impossible Things”. His latest project entitled “ALIVE” alongside Korean artist Ai Wei Wei premiered at the prestigious Sundance Festival.
