Let’s say it loud and clear: “¡Qué asco de primavera!” (This spring sucks!) the last EP by the band from Málaga, deserved much more attention than it got. With just three songs, La Trinidad more than proved their compositional maturity, capable of revisiting the most revered commonplaces (REM, Aztec Camera, The Smiths… but also Spain’s Airbag, and Biznaga, contemporaries, despite their seniority) without lapsing into mere imitation or a bland pastiche.
