Somewhere halfway between the most atmospheric stoner doom and the noisiest psychedelia is the sonic witches’ sabbath that these guys from Malaga have in store for us, for which they have found, in their homonymous debut LP, a more than reliable book of spells. Their concerts, like their music, are faithful to the phases of a ritual founded on a symbolism that transcends the purely anecdotal, and an aesthetic that is painstakingly produced, right down to the last detail. The result? A full-fledged trance drawing on both darkwave and “The Witch” equally.
