Anyone would think that this band arose from the ashes of Jay, that combo so associated with noise rock that more than one of us went crazy, and featuring members of other bands like Disco Las Palmeras!, Dois and Seda. Making a clean break, the Galicians seem to be out to make a statement with their new musical adventure, closer to The Avalanches or Badbadnotgood, whether alone or in incredible company (mariagrep, Grande Amore) than to Sonic Youth. Zero noise, lots of sampler, all elegance.
