Paulina Ahokas is a firm influencer and a pioneer of Finnish cultural and event industries. Ahokas is MD of Tampere Hall Ltd, the biggest cultural and congress centre in the Nordic Countries (turnover 14,6 M€ and 675.000 visitors in 2019).Tampere Hall has been chosen the congress and conference centre of the year for seven years consecutively and it is also the reigning Concert Hall of the Year in Finland. In 2017 the Moomin Museum was opened at Tampere Hall.

Ahokas is a board member at the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, Music & Media Events, and the chairman of LiveX Finland. She has served at the Arts Council of Finland appointed by the Minister of Culture, as the chairman of the selection board of the inaugural International Gender Equality Prize.

From 2002-2011 Ahokas managed Music Export Finland which received the Internationalization Award from Finland’s President in 2011, a personal Internationalization Award in 2007, and a Life-Time Achievement Award at Music & Media 2012.

Ahokas is passionate about enabling wellbeing through culture and believes that empowerment of women globally is the answer to today’s challenges. She has played various instruments to four different records, played 200 concerts and lived in five countries.
