With each song released in recent months, Malaga’s Sarria (Los Labios’ former guitarist) has been carving out a name for himself thanks to a succession of pleasant surprises, revealing a songwriter steeped in a classic heritage and with 1,001 faces to show us. Gitana, his first single, revealed to us an up-and-coming musician displaying an enviable sobriety and poise, capable of rolling himself out with a single that deftly avoided the easy path and opted for a mid-tempo beat and a refined Josele Santiago aftertaste. Songs like Esperando al sol and A todo color ended up establishing Sarria as a budding talent that has ended up flourishing with a self-titled album containing Bunburian undertones, exhibiting influences as wide-ranging as Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and the Grateful Dead. #rock
