Behind this name, we find the band formed by producers from Jerez, Manu Flores and Aytami, and Lebrijano Quentin Gas, the second-to-last proposal to join that revival of Andalusian folklore and flamenco from a contemporary perspective that has been delighting us recently. In “Olajay” —which means “curse” in Caló— they proclaim their sonic discourse between wails and beats, unafraid to flirt with oriental rhythms or hip hop incursions, with the indispensable collaboration of Eddie Coopermen (Space Surimi) and Berna.
