Their debut album has a title that, be careful, can be misleading: “Nada que aportar” (or “Nothing to Contribute”). Nothing could be further from the truth: the Canarian, who also has a career behind the scenes of the industry, not only on this side of the stage, has given us a most suggestive album with a lot to offer. Its pluperfect melodies and that lo-fi production are intertwined in songs that are as cool as they are timely, which also integrate with exquisite ease influences as diverse as Britney Spears, Julieta Venegas or La Bien Querida. Someone will have to tell her not to be so modest.
