CONCURSO POP ROCK DE PALMA

Without a doubt, one of the most pleasant surprises that the last Palma Pop Rock Contest has brought us. And also one of the revelations of the recently very effervescent Balearic scene. ‘Dahlia’ shares quite a few similarities with the sound of other artists such as El Petit de Cal Eril, the alias of musician Joan Pons: both the Minorcans and the one from Lleida seem to be enchanted by a kind of acoustic folk pop, with psychedelic hues as evocative as they are sinuous. Songs that advance like whispers, not devoid of humor and tremendously addictive, ideal for encouraging dreaming with open eyes.
