MARCELO PANTANI
Marcelo Pantani reincarnates stories of a life on the run and an endless dance, of a night through the neon lights of 90s Rimini, of a stolen Giro, of hedonism as a means and not an end, of an extravagant soul and personified tragicomedy. His sound is forceful and energetic, exploring hypnotic rhythms, trance atmospheres, eurodance inspirations, and 90s hard house. An extroverted discourse characterizes his sets, which have managed to infect places like Nitsa, Razzmatazz, Terrrazza, Laut, La Paloma (BCN), Club Malasaña (Madrid), Paradiso (Ibiza), Muelle (Bilbao), and Bonnefooi (Brussels) with his energy. He is a member of the Mainline collective, which has established itself over the past three years as a fresh agitator of the scene in Barcelona, and with whom he has had the opportunity to perform at festivals like Primavera Weekender or Soundit. Pantani is also experimenting in the producer role, as seen in “Dottore,” a 140 bpm banger with sharp synths and female choirs to move the dance floor, inspired by 2000s sounds. “Todo lo que tu quieras,” a collaboration with Yung Prado where the fake Italian chants an ode to dance and hedonism. And still to be released is a scheduled launch with the italo-body flagship label, Ritmo Fatale.
